 | Mantua Model Boat Kits
Mantua kits are all very good quality and are the best within the period model ship market. All of the main ply sections, frames keel etc. are laser cut to ensure accuracy. The majority of these models feature a single plank on frame hull construction, although some are double planked. Hull planking consists of lime and/or walnut. The fittings supplied are made from various materials, including brass, walnut and boxwood. The decoration can be either very thin laser engraved wood, cast metal and/or photoetched brass. Comprehensive plan sheets and build instructions are included.
