Solar film SOLAR FILM,
IRON-ON SELF ADHESIVE PLASTIC FILM

Sizes 1.27m. by 0.68m. wide.
Iron-on self adhesive polypropylene film. The easiest to apply of all iron-on films. Lightest and quickest method for a high gloss finish on a model aircraft. Very good shrinkage so the covering tightens easily. When hot, stretches round wingtips and domed shapes better than any other iron-on film.
Not recommended for models powered by diesel or petrol (gasoline).

Solar Tex SOLAR TEX
IRON-ON COVERING FABRIC
Roll sizes 2m. by 0.68m. wide
Iron-on self adhesive fabric. Very strong and tough covering material, stronger than films but heavier. SOLARTEX has the textured surface of a fabric. The fabric surface has been protected by a tough coat of two-pack resin to make it airtight and fuelproof. The back of the fabric is coated with a colourless heat-seal adhesive.

Gloss Tex GLOSS TEX
GLOSS PAINTED IRON-ON FABRIC
Roll sizes 2m. by 0.68m. wide.
Iron-on self adhesive fabric. Has a high gloss textured surface from the factory - applied two-pack paint on the fabric surface. Completely fuel-proof. Needs more care when being applied than Solartex. Excessive heat or too vigorous rubbing with a hot iron could bruise the high gloss finish. Can be decorated by ironing-on pre-cut shapes of Glosstex on to the base covering.

Solar trim SOLAR TRIM
SELF - ADHESIVE TRIM FILM
Roll size 0.9m. by 0.33m. wide.
Glossy, sticky-back trim film, supplied on a paper support sheet. Very thin and flexible.
Used for colour decoration on film covered models. Can be cut out to make lettering, insignia etc. Best results are if applied to a smooth surface. Does not adhere properly to rough or textured surface e.g. Solartex.
